Even the Homeless Have Clutter
Yesterday I was downtown with Munchie passing out dog chow to homeless dogs and their grateful people when I couldn’t help but notice that many homeless are living with far more than the backpack or cart often imagined by those of us with full, cluttered existences. I think our cultural belief that more = happy and less = lack has translated into them storing up any excess as it comes available rather than trusting their needs will be met. I know faith when you are experiencing hard times can seem like a tall order.
